In the bustling kitchen of my grandmother’s workplace in Brazil, I discovered the magic of brigadeiros as a young girl. After school, I would eagerly join her, learning the art of crafting these beloved chocolate truffles. For me, these treats became more than just sweets—they were vessels of joy, tradition, and love.

Rolling brigadeiros with my grandmother wasn’t just about learning a recipe; it was about creating memories, sharing stories, and experiencing a connection that transcended generations. These moments shaped me in ways I never realized at the time.

As I grew older, my grandmother and mother became my greatest inspirations. They showed me what resilience and strength looked like. Their determination taught me to face life's challenges with grace and grit. Their love, especially through food, sparked my passion for sharing joy through sweets.

 

While I built a successful career in Advertising and Marketing in Brazil, something always pulled at me—a deeper calling for something more. This wasn’t a journey for the traditional "American Dream." It was a personal quest for growth, learning, and the pursuit of new experiences that would expand my world.

Moving to the United States brought its own set of challenges. Adapting to a new culture, a new language, and new opportunities was no easy feat. But I embraced the uncertainty with the same passion and resilience that my family instilled in me. Throughout all of this, one thing remained constant—my love for creating desserts.
 

In this new chapter of my life, brigadeiros became my way of connecting with my roots and sharing a piece of my heart with others. What began as a childhood tradition has blossomed into DelicaC’s, a brand that bridges cultures through the universal language of sweetness.
